Concern, hesitation, and unmet needs raised in conversations.

Product usage that stalled or never ramped.
Unmet commitments
Things promised to the customer that never got done.
Early, human-owned flag
A surfaced risk for a CSM to act on, not an auto-email.
01
Why do renewals get lost late?
The signals that a renewal is at risk show up weeks or months before the renewal date, in call tone, in stalled adoption, in a promise that quietly went unfulfilled. But nobody is watching for them across every account, so the risk surfaces at the renewal conversation, when it is too late to do much. Flagging exists to move the discovery forward in time.
02
What signals does Mindlyft use?
Three kinds. Conversation signals: hesitation, unmet needs, or frustration raised on calls. Adoption signals: usage that stalled or never ramped, drawn from product-usage context. Commitment signals: things promised to the customer that never got executed, which is often the clearest tell. Combined, they flag the accounts that need attention before the renewal, not at it.
03
Does the flag trigger an automatic action?
No. A renewal-risk flag is a surfaced signal for a human, not an automated intervention. Reaching out to an at-risk customer is a judgment call and a customer-facing action, so it stays with the CSM. Mindlyft's job is to make sure the risk is visible early; the play is the human's.
04
How is this better than a health score?
A health score is a number that tells you an account is at risk. A flag drawn from the actual signals tells you why, an unmet commitment, a stalled rollout, a worried stakeholder, which is what a CSM needs to actually do something. The evidence travels with the flag.

FAQ
What is renewal risk flagging?
It is surfacing accounts likely to churn early enough to act. Mindlyft raises a flag from call signals, adoption gaps, and unmet commitments, and a human decides the intervention.
Does Mindlyft contact at-risk customers automatically?
No. The flag is a surfaced signal for a CSM. Any outreach to the customer is a human, customer-facing decision, not an automated action.
What signal predicts churn best?
Often an unmet commitment: something promised to the customer that never got executed. Mindlyft tracks those directly, which makes them a reliable early flag.
